Giving a little can mean a lot this Christmas…

No child should experience an empty Christmas. Help us to help families this winter by donating to the annual Stuff a Bus campaign.

The cost-of-living crisis is forcing households across Northern Ireland to make impossible choices.

We need you to help us raise £75,000 to help ease that burden and give the gift of choice to families to ensure that everyone can experience some magic this Christmas.

Money is tight for everyone, but even giving a little to our online fund can make a huge difference to those who are facing a choice between heating, eating or a small stocking filler for their children this Christmas.

1 in 4 children are living in poverty and 1 in 14 households are facing food insecurity in Northern Ireland. Last year your generosity helped support almost 40,000 children.

We want to raise £75,000 this year and will be collecting online as well as at special station fundraising events in the run up to Christmas. Check out here to see how you can help or get involved

Together, we can give people the gift of choice, with even the smallest donations making a huge difference.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

What is Stuff A Bus NI?

Stuff A Bus NI is an award-winning initiative started 6 years ago by Translink and U105 in aid of the Salvation Army and St Vincent de Paul’s annual Christmas Family Appeal, which has been supporting children in Northern Ireland for 40 years by ensuring they have a present to open at Christmas.

To date we have donated over 50,000 toys and as the UK faces a cost-of-living crisis, we’re needed now more than ever. With 1 in 5 adults living in poverty here, impossible choices are happening every single day.

The effects of poverty don’t stop just because it’s Christmas with many families facing the impossible choice to either put food on the table or heat their homes. Christmas presents are the very last thing on their list – and that’s where together we can help.

The appeal relies on the generosity of local people, Translink passengers, staff and Northern Ireland organisations. It comes at a time when there is an increasing level of need as more and more families will likely face financial difficulties this year, who have never needed support before.
